Fully automatic welding machines designed for the manufacture of high precision cylindrical cages for reinforced concrete pipes. The machines in the ASMS series are designed for the continuous production of resistance spot welded reinforcement cages with or without bell socket in any length for a wide range of pipe diameters.
Cage production is continuous and fully automatic. The cages are manufactured in a horizontal position and do not rotate. Welding is effected by a welding head which rotates around the cage.
The longitudinal wires are drawn from coils at the rear of the machine and as these are being advanced, the windiing wire drawn from the reel rotating around the cage welding ring is being continuously fed onto the electrodes and spot welded to them by the rotating welding unit.
An automatic shear can be supplied which is designed to cut cages to length while the machine is in operation.
The automatic longitudinal wire feed and the facility to remove fabricated cages while the machine is in operation enables the ASMS to achieve a cage output that cannot be matched by any other machine on the market (in excess of 50% higher)
Key machine components like motors, drives and control systems are sourced exclusively from reputable suppliers such as SIEMENS and SEW ensurig worldwide support and parts avaibility.
A sole operative is required to supervise the machinery.
